Refreshing!
Occasionally I update web pages only to discover that you are not seeing the most recent things that I have written. There is a reason for this, and a way to correct it. That is the purpose of this page!
Your computer has a place called a 'cache' where it stores temporary files. When you are online and click on a link to a page, your computer takes you to that page and stores a copy of that page in your 'cache'. That way, if you go back to this page, your computer doesn't have to reload it. This saves a lot of time for the computer. However, it can create problems if changes have been made in the page you are looking at.
Your browser (either Internet Exployer or Netscape Navigator) has settings that tell the computer what to do. Most of the time (unless you have changed them), the settings will automatically open up the most recent copy of a file stored in your cache when you go to that page. If changes have been made, you won't see them. To make sure your pages are always current, you may need to change your browser settings. Instructions follow.
